The BCCI introduced the profitable bidders for the Women’s Premier League, with the businesses incomes the possession rights for a mixed bid valuation of INR 4669.99 Cr. Adani Sportsline Pvt. Ltd, Indiawin Sports Pvt. Ltd, JSW GMR Cricket Pvt. Ltd and Capri Global Holdings Pvt. Ltd. accomplished the 5 franchises to win the bid.

“Well played, RCB! So thrilled that my team has won the bid for the Bengaluru Women’s Premier League team. Can’t wait to cheer for our women in Red and Gold,” Kohli tweeted.

Out of the 5 franchises, three have already got groups within the Indian Premier League (IPL). JSW GMR Cricket Pvt personal Delhi Capitals, Royal Challengers Sports Pvt. Ltd personal RCB and Indiawin Sports Pvt. Ltd (part of Reliance) personal Mumbai Indians.

The BCCI Secretary Jay Shah tweeted: “Today is a historic day in cricket as the bidding for teams of inaugural #WPL broke the records of the inaugural Men’s IPL in 2008! Congratulations to the winners as we garnered Rs.4669.99 Cr in total bid. This marks the beginning of a revolution in women’s cricket and paves the way for a transformative journey ahead not only for our women cricketers but for the entire sports fraternity. The #WPL would bring necessary reforms in women’s cricket and would ensure an all-encompassing ecosystem that benefits each and every stakeholder.”
