By India Today Web Desk: Former cricketer Ajay Jadeja has claimed that Rohit Sharma has put the seeds of worry in Pat Cummins’ head along with his batting within the Nagpur Test of the Border-Gavaskar trophy.
Sharma appears to be on a special stage along with his batting because the India captain scored his ninth Test hundred and was notably extreme on Cummins.
The India captain took on his Australian counterpart on day one after which performed a trademark pull shot to hit a six off the pacer. Cummins then determined to take himself out of the assault.
Jadeja was requested on Cricbuzz if Sharma had sown the seeds of worry in Cummins’ head. The former cricketer agreed to it and stated the India captain had are available in on day two to reap the fruits as nicely.
Jadeja stated that Sharma had taken Cummins out of the sport on the primary day of the Test and that six he hit confirmed his dominance.
“Absolutely. He had sown the seeds of fear in Cummins yesterday and now he has come to take the fruits. He almost took Cummins out of the game yesterday. And today, with that six, he showed dominance,” stated Jadeja.
Jadeja went on to reward Sharma’s innings and stated that he has been in a special zone in comparison with others. The former cricketer stated that when the India captain is batting, it appears like there may be nothing on the Nagpur pitch to be frightened about.

“Rohit Sharma is always a cool customer. He just goes on his path like an elephant that doesn’t look here and there despite the noise around it. The pitch is up and down and we saw Virat Kohli have a reaction to the nature of the pitch. We don’t see that from Rohit at all. What we saw today from him was just brilliant.”
