By India Today Web Desk: Japan’s Defence Ministry on Tuesday mentioned that the unidentified aerial objects that flew over the nation’s airspace in recent times might be Chinese spy balloons.
The Ministry mentioned that it “strongly suspects” Chinese surveillance balloons have entered Japanese territory at the least thrice since 2019, Reuters reported.
In a press release, Japan’s Defence Ministry mentioned that the balloons have been detected in 2019, 2020 and 2021.
The ministry additionally mentioned that Japan had referred to as on China’s authorities to confirm the information of the scenario and ensure it doesn’t occur once more.
