Senior Jammu and Kashmir AAP chief Harsh Dev Singh quits occasion

JAMMU: Senior AAP chief Harsh Dev Singh on Thursday resigned because the chairman of its Jammu and Kashmir unit and stop the occasion’s main membership, citing private causes.

Singh had joined the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Delhi on May 7, 2022 within the presence of senior occasion leaders.

He was the chairman of the J-K National Panthers Party earlier than that.

In his letter of resignation to AAP nationwide convener Arvind Kejriwal, Singh stated, “Due to some personal reasons, I can no longer continue in the Aam Aadmi Party and am therefore quitting the same with immediate effect. This communique as such, be treated as my resignation from J&K chairmanship of the party as well as from primary membership of AAP,” the three-term MLA stated.

Singh becoming a member of the AAP final 12 months was seen as a serious increase to the Kejriwal-led occasion’s growth plans in Jammu and Kashmir.
