By India Today Web Desk: Former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand has jumped to under-fire Chelsea supervisor Graham Potter’s help, saying he has one of many hardest jobs within the league. Chelsea are affected by a poor run of kind, having misplaced their earlier match towards last-placed Southampton 1-0 at Stamford Bridge.
Speaking on his Youtube channel Vibe with Five, Ferdinand stated Potter has one of many hardest jobs within the league, including that he has by no means handled gamers of such stature earlier than.
“I would go as far to say that Graham Potter has one of the hardest jobs in the league. Because what he has been given – it is weird to say that, because he’s [been given] crazy amounts of talent [but] he’s a new manager, he’s never dealt with players of that stature, and those egos, and having to manage that,” stated Ferdinand.
The former England centre-back stated Potter walked right into a membership that was not settled and had quite a lot of new gamers.
“So every week, just imagine this, he’s going in, yes he’s got great players at his disposal and they’re not a team, he’s got to formulate a team, and disappoint between 11 to 15 players. He walked into a group that was already formulated before he got there, all new signings. He didn’t walk into a club that was settled,” Ferdinand added.
He went on to say that Potter got here at Chelsea after they had simply signed new gamers, and went on so as to add much more gamers in January, including that the Chelsea job is difficult even at one of the best of occasions.
“He walked in after a guy had spent hundreds of millions pounds on new players coming into that squad. Normally you go into a club and the players are quite settled. Then you’ve got a sprinkling of new players. He had nine or ten players that were new to the squad when he arrived, then signs another nine or ten new players. It’s hard job. It’s a hard job at the best of times,” stated Ferdinand.
