NEW DELHI: India’s engagement with China is advanced, whereas Pakistan hasn’t proven any sincerity in delivering justice to the households of 26/11 terror assaults, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) has stated in its annual report launched on Monday.
The report says that India and China have agreed {that a} decision of the ultimate settlement of the boundary areas is an important foundation for the general growth of the bilateral relationship. “Starting April-May 2020, the Chinese aspect undertook a number of makes an attempt to unilaterally alter the established order alongside the Line of Actual Control (LAC) within the western sector – which significantly disturbed peace and tranquillity,’’ the 345-page report, ready by MEA’s coverage planning division, states.

“Since May 2020, there have been 11 meetings of the Working Mechanism for Consultation and Coordination (WMCC) on border affairs. India attended the first in-person meeting of WMCC in Beijing last month. India and China also met diplomatically in G20, BRICS, SCO, UN,” the report provides.
On Pakistan, the report says the nation has did not ship justice to the households of the Mumbai terror assaults. “Pakistan is but to point out sincerity in delivering justice to households of the 26/11 terror assaults. India has constantly pressured the necessity for Pakistan to take credible, irreversible and verifiable motion to finish cross-border terrorism,’’ it states.
