NAGPUR: In a case of highway rage, a lady using a two-wheeler together with her two-year-old baby was overwhelmed up by a retired jawan of the Border Security Force (BSF) in full public view in Nagpur metropolis of Maharashtra after she tried to confront him when his automobile brushed previous her scooter, police mentioned on Saturday.
The accused, recognized as Shiv Shankar Shrivastava, has been booked on prices of molestation and assault.
The incident occurred on Friday afternoon after Shrivastava’s automobile brushed previous the girl’s two-wheeler at Bhim Chowk in Jaripatka space.
The girl one way or the other managed to regulate her scooter, a police officer mentioned.
“She stopped the two-wheeler and clicked a picture of the car. Later, she tried to stop the car from moving. Shrivastava became angry and got out of the car. He started beating up the woman mercilessly. Other people rushed to the spot and overpowered the man,” the officer mentioned.
A video of the incident has gone viral on social media.
Shrivastava was taken to the police station and the girl was despatched for a medical examination.
The accused was launched by police with a discover after his kinfolk advised the police that he was affected by a coronary heart ailment, the official added.
