By India Today News Desk: London police on Sunday arrested a person on suspicion of violent dysfunction after crowds gathered and a window was smashed on the Indian excessive fee, The Guardian reported.
Metropolitan cops have been referred to as to the Indian excessive fee constructing in Aldwych, Westminster, at about 1.50 pm on Sunday, and two safety guards sustained minor accidents.
In a video shared extensively on social media, an official on the Indian High Commission in London was seen rescuing the Tricolour from a Khalistani supporter and throwing out the Khalistani flag. The Khalistani supporter indifferent the Indian flag from the first-floor balcony of the constructing whereas a crowd of individuals under waved vibrant yellow “Khalistan” banners.
The Metropolitan Police has launched an investigation into the incident. A spokesperson stated: “Windows were broken at the high commission building. Two members of security staff sustained injuries. These are believed to be minor and they did not require hospital treatment.”
