MUMBAI: Nationalist Congress Party president Sharad Pawar on Tuesday talked about he has decided to step down as a result of the celebration chief.
Speaking at a e-book launch of his autobiography on the Yashwantrao Chavan Pratisthan proper right here, Pawar launched his alternative which was met with protests by NCP workers and leaders.
“I have decided to step down as the president of the Nationalist Congress Party,” he talked about.
Pawar moreover launched a panel of senior celebration leaders to draw a future plan of motion.
Party workers and leaders, however, demanded that Pawar withdraw his alternative.
They threatened to not depart the venue besides he rescind his alternative.
A four-time Maharashtra chief minister, who served as Union Defence and Agriculture minister, Pawar was instrumental in stitching collectively an unlikely coalition of the NCP, Congress after which ideologically reverse Shiv Sena to type the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) authorities after the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections.
