By India Today World Desk: Clashes erupted between Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) employees and the police on the Srinagar Highway in Islamabad on Friday as Pakistan’s former prime minister Imran Khan was being escorted to Islamabad High Court (IHC).
Thousands of Pakistanis gathered at Srinagar Highway G-13 Islamabad at current to specific solidarity with PTI chief Imran Khan.
Security forces arrested 30 of us after clashes erupted between PTI employees and cops on the Srinagar Highway. There had been tales of stone-pelting and heavy shelling on the freeway as he was being taken to the extreme courtroom.

Section 144 continues to remain in place in Islamabad
The police in Pakistan have imposed an emergency order banning gathering of better than 4 of us.
“Section 144 is in force in Islamabad.The public is requested not to obstruct the legal process. Islamabad Police is busy to ensure public order. Citizens are requested to avoid going around Islamabad High Court,” Islamabad police tweeted.
