FATEHPUR: Nine people had been killed after an auto-rickshaw that they had been travelling collided with a milk tanker throughout the Jehanabad area proper right here on Tuesday, police said.
Eleven people from Ghatampur in Kanpur had been coming to Jehanabad in an auto rickshaw when a dashing tanker hit it near Chilli flip this afternoon, they said.
Nine people travelling throughout the auto-rickshaw had been killed and two others had been considerably injured, they said.
Expressing grief over the shortage of lives throughout the accident, Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a tweet in Hindi said, The freeway accident in Fatehpur may very well be very sad.
My deepest condolences to people who have misplaced their family members. I need the injured a speedy restoration. Under the supervision of the state authorities, the native administration is completely engaged in serving to the victims.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in a tweet in Hindi said The lack of lives in a freeway accident in district Fatehpur is very sad. My condolences are with the bereaved households. May Lord Ram give place to the departed souls in his holy ft and a speedy restoration to the injured.
The district administration officers have been instructed to produce appropriate remedy to the injured, the CM said. The identification of the deceased is however to be ascertained, police said.
Efforts are on to nab the tanker driver who fled with the car after the accident, they said. Further particulars are awaited, police added.
PM @narendramodi has launched an ex-gratia of Rs. 2 lakh for the next of kin of each of those who misplaced their lives throughout the accident in Fatehpur. The injured may very well be given Rs. 50,000 each.
