After the Pakistan navy warned of a navy trial in opposition to rioters involved in May 9 violence, after Imran Khan’s arrest, the PTI supremo launched a video claiming he had recorded it on March 22. In the video, Khan is urging supporters and his celebration staff to use restraint and carry out peaceful protests.
“I have consistently told my party workers that whatever the provocation they must only do peaceful protests. Whenever there is an independent inquiry I will prove that those who had guns and those who committed arson were planted amongst the demonstrators,” Khan claimed.
