By Press Trust of India: Nepal President Ramchandra Paudel was on Tuesday admitted to a hospital in Kathmandu after he complained of chest ache.
Paudel, 78, was admitted to the Bansbari-based Shahid Gangalal National Heart Centre at 11 am, the Kathmandu Post newspaper reported, citing the president’s workplace.
“Nothing serious has happened to the President. He has gone to the hospital for regular tests,” Niraj Bam, Paudel’s private doctor, was quoted as saying by the paper.
He is presently receiving therapy within the VIP part of the hospital.
Earlier in April, Paudel had been admitted to Maharajgunj-based Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital twice after experiencing belly ache and shortness of breath.
Paudel was later airlifted to India on April 19 for therapy on the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi. He returned to Nepal after his well being improved following his profitable therapy for a chest-related ailment on the AIIMS.
Doctors concerned in Paudel’s therapy had suggested him to relaxation for a number of extra weeks.
Paudel of the Nepali Congress was elected because the president of Nepal in March.
