Uttarakhand: After Purola, Muslim shopkeeper’s store closed in Kalsi for promoting puja objects

DEHRADUN: Activists of Rudra Sena, Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal staged a protest at Kalsi Gate market in opposition to a Muslim man for promoting objects used for worshipping Hindu deities. The store was compelled to shut amid huge protests.

Sensing that the scenario was deteriorating, the police of Kalsi police station took the Rudra Sena chief into custody.

After being launched from the police station, Rakesh Tomar ‘Uttarakhandi’ advised TNIE, “The dairy farm shop is allotted in the name of a woman. About four months ago, was rented out against the rules to a person belonging to a particular religion. Rakesh Tomar alleged, “The mentioned individual belonging to a selected faith is promoting objects of worship materials by hiding his actual id. Due to which the religion of Hindu faith is being damage”.

Kalsi police station in-charge Ravindra Negi advised this reporter, “No one can be allowed to spoil the atmosphere of the city.  Rakesh Tomar has been released conditionally after instructions”. After this, talks have additionally been held with the dairy administration on this regard. The administration has been requested to settle the dispute associated to the store.
