China helps Russia in sustaining its nationwide stability, the Chinese overseas ministry mentioned on Sunday, a day after an aborted mutiny by the Wagner group of closely armed mercenaries.

“The Chinese side expressed support for the efforts of the leadership of the Russian Federation to stabilise the situation in the country in connection with the events of June 24 and confirmed its interest in strengthening the cohesion and further prosperity of Russia,” the Russian overseas ministry mentioned.
China’s overseas ministry initially mentioned solely that Rudenko had exchanged views with China’s Foreign Minister Qin Gang on Sino-Russian relations in addition to “international and regional issues of common concern”.
It later mentioned China helps Russia in sustaining its nationwide stability and that the current escalation in tensions in Russia was Russia’s “internal affairs”.

It was unclear when Rudenko arrived in Beijing, or whether or not his go to to China, a key ally of Russia, was in response to the obvious insurrection led by mercenary chief Yevgeny Prigozhin.
The mutiny was aborted on Saturday in a deal that spared Prigozhin and his mercenaries from dealing with felony expenses in return for Prigozhin pulling his fighters again to base and transferring to Belarus.
CHINA SILENCE
China earlier made no touch upon the insurrection that Putin mentioned threatened Russia’s very existence whereas Western leaders together with US President Joe Biden mentioned they had been carefully monitoring the scenario.
“China will support Russia while stressing no interference of its internal affairs,” outstanding Chinese army knowledgeable and TV commentator Song Zhongping informed Reuters.
“Prigozhin realises that it is difficult to achieve the desired results through this rebellion.”
Prigozhin had mentioned his “march” on Moscow was supposed to take away corrupt and incompetent commanders he blames for botching the conflict in Ukraine.

The insurrection has been carefully adopted by Chinese media, which has largely kept away from remark forward of any official remarks.
But Chinese state-controlled Global Times mentioned on Saturday that hyping up the “mutiny” of Prigozhin and creating an “illusion” Russia has many inner contradictions and “the building is collapsing” amounted to the newest assault by Western media and one other try and undermine Russian social unity.
Many Chinese residents expressed help for Putin on social media.
“You can do it, Russia!” a number of social media posts learn.
China’s Embassy in Russia informed Chinese media outlet Southern Metropolis Daily on Saturday that the area round Moscow was calm.
