“Spoke to Rohit Sharma a lot while batting together. He was telling me how to bat on this wicket and where to score. There was good communication between us. Even before the game he was telling me that ‘I have to do it, you’rre the only person’. I also kept thinking about it and how to score and prepare mentally. So, I’ve learnt a lot from this game and I’ll try to continue this in the future,” Jaiswal added.
India ended Day 2 on the again of centuries from Jaiswal and Rohit. While Jaiswal hit an unbeaten 143, Rohit scored 103 earlier than being dismissed by debutant and native boy Alick Atanaze.
