Mayurbhanj: In heart-wrenching incident, two forest division staff sustained severe accidents in an elephant assault close to Betnoti village in Bhanjanagar vary beneath Berhampur forest division.
The victims have been recognized as forest guard Pradeep Dehuri and safety assistant Jatindra Kisk.
For the previous few days, there have been reviews of elephant disturbances within the Rasagobindapur Range and Betanoti vary. This has prompted concern among the many native residents.
In response to those incidents, the Forest Department has initiated patrolling. Last night time, as they tried to drive away the elephants, a serious confrontation occurred, leading to forest guard Pradeep and safety help Jatintra sustaining accidents.
According to reviews, each victims have been admitted to the PRM Medical College and Hospital in Berhampur.
If their circumstances worsen, they could be transferred to the All India Medical School (AIIMS) in Bhubaneswar.
