NEW DELHI: The Indian Air Force obtained supply of its first C-295 transport plane on Wednesday, with Airbus formally handing it over in fly-away situation.
The C-295, in transport configuration and with an indigenous digital warfare suite, will depart Airbus’ manufacturing website in Seville, Spain, for Delhi within the subsequent few days, piloted by a joint IAF-Airbus crew.
