During his one-day keep in Bijapur, Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel unveiled the statue of Chhattisgarh Mahtari within the Collectorate workplace premises and paid tribute to him by providing flowers. After unveiling the statue, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel mentioned that Chhattisgarh Mahtari is a logo of Chhattisgarh’s identification, self-respect and respect. He mentioned that statues of Chhattisgarh Mahtari are being put in in all of the districts so that individuals might be woke up about their tradition. This is our effort to make sure that future generations get ample alternatives to know and perceive our Teej-festivals and folks traditions.
Chief Minister Mr. Baghel additional mentioned that the Chhattisgarh authorities is working determinedly to advertise its tradition. Traditional Tihars of Chhattisgarh are being organized. A significant initiative has been taken to rejoice Tihars of people life like Teeja-Pora, Akti, Hareli, Chherchera on a big scale. Today the entire nation has come to learn about Bore-Baasi. Work has been completed to provide respect to tribal tradition by way of initiatives like Tribal Dance Festival, Rejuvenation of Devgudi, Adivasi Parab Samman Nidhi.
On this event, Industry, Commerce Tax and Excise Minister and Minister in-charge of Bijapur district Mr. Kawasi Lakhma, MLA Mr. Vikram Mandavi, District Panchayat President Mr. Shankar Kudiam, Vice President Mr. Kamlesh Karam, District Panchayat member Mrs. Neena Rawatiya Udde, and Collector Mr. Rajendra Kumar Katara.
