Hyundai has officially launched the second-generation Venue compact SUV and its performance-tuned N Line variant in India. This eagerly awaited update brings a host of enhancements, including a refreshed design, cutting-edge technology, and advanced safety features, with prices starting at Rs 7.90 lakh.
The new Hyundai Venue and Venue N Line present a more aggressive and contemporary exterior design. The front end is distinguished by a prominent rectangular grille with dark chrome inserts and advanced quad-beam LED headlamps. The signature C-shaped DRLs are integrated with a connected light bar across the top for a distinctive look. The side profile features newly designed 16-inch alloy wheels and chrome door handles, contributing to a dynamic stance. The rear design is muscular, highlighted by connected taillamps and a detailed 3D Venue logo.
The interior has been completely re-engineered, adopting a sophisticated dual-tone dark navy and dove white theme. The centerpiece of the dashboard is the impressive twin 12.3-inch curved display system. A new terrazzo texture on the dashboard trim adds an element of premium refinement. Rear passenger comfort is enhanced by a 20mm longer wheelbase, providing more legroom. Practical additions such as rear AC vents, sunshades, and reclining rear seats ensure a comfortable experience for all occupants.
Driving safety and convenience are significantly boosted with the introduction of Level 2 ADAS technology in the new Venue and Venue N Line. This advanced suite of features includes adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, and more. Standard safety equipment also includes six airbags, ESC, a 360-degree camera, and an electronic parking brake with auto-hold.
Engine options for the standard Venue comprise a 1.2L petrol, a 1.0L turbo petrol, and a 1.5L diesel. The diesel variant now gains the option of a 6-speed automatic transmission. The Venue N Line is powered exclusively by the spirited 1.0L turbo petrol engine, offered with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT gearbox.
