BD Sharma, Damoh. The court has sentenced Rambai, former BSP MLA from Patharia assembly of Damoh district of Madhya Pradesh, to three months imprisonment. This punishment has been given in two cases of misbehavior. Five other convicts, including the former MLA, have also been sentenced to three months’ imprisonment.

In fact, in 2016, there was also a case of threatening an electricity worker. Rambai had gone to the electricity employee’s house and abused him and even threatened him. After which the employee had registered a case in the Kotwali police station. Another case is of 2022 when Damoh Collector S. Krishna Chaitanya was sitting in his office, during that time former MLA Ram Bai arrived and started misbehaving with the Collector while disrespecting government work. The Collector had lodged a complaint regarding this matter in the Kotwali police station. The case which has been going on for two years has been heard today by MP/MLA Judge Vishveshri Mishra. Let us tell you that Rambai has so far been punished in four cases by the court.
