2 lakh farmers of MP will march to Delhi: Said- This is the biggest movement of the country, we are ready even for martyrdom.

Shikhil Beowhar, Bhopal. Farmers of Madhya Pradesh will strengthen the farmers’ movement that has been going on for the last six days on the Punjab and Haryana border. Farmer organizations have made preparations to transport about two lakh farmers of the state on 24th February. Farmer leader Shivkumar Kakka said that the government is continuously talking about the demands. But now this fight will be all-out. The farmers fighting for their rights have supported that if their demands are not met, this will be the biggest and longest running movement in the history of the country.

Officials of farmer organizations said that now farmers from all over the country will make the government realize their strength. Farmers from southern states are also supporting this movement. The government is adopting all kinds of tactics to stop the farmers from different parts of the country uniting in Delhi. Farmers are being shot at and shells are being fired on the Punjab and Haryana border. The government is treating farmers like it treats the Pakistani Army.

State President of Bharatiya Kisan Union, Anil Yadav said that all the organizations have supported the movement. 24th February will be a historic day for the country. Farmers are ready to fill all the jails. He told that if the government stops them from marching to Delhi, then the farmers are ready to create a big moment in Madhya Pradesh itself. But the farmer is not going to bow down under any circumstances.

Reports of five commissions and 50 committees, not one implemented. Farmer leader of Sanyukta Kisan Morcha, Shivkumar Kakka ji said that the government’s view towards farmers is limited only to votes. This is the reason why till now five commissions have been formed in all the governments. 50 committee reports are also gathering dust in government files. Not a single one of these was implemented. The government works to agree with the farmers, but does not have the courage to fulfill their demands.

Movement on two main demands

For the last six days, farmers have been agitating with five demands. There are three main demands in this. First, making a law for minimum support price, second, demanding implementation of all the recommendations of Swaminathan Commission. The third demand is loan waiver of all the farmers of the country. Apart from the land acquisition law, there is a demand to withdraw the cases against farmers.

Politics heated up over farmer movement

Political temperature has also started rising regarding the farmers’ movement. Congress has supported the movement by justifying all the demands of the farmers. MP Congress General Secretary Amit Sharma said that the central and state governments have done the work of cheating the farmers. Therefore, farmers will stand shoulder to shoulder with Congress at every level. On the other hand, BJP leader Deepak Vijayvargiya said that the government takes decisions only in the interest of farmers. The round of talks is also going on. This movement of farmers is being given a violent color by external anti-social elements. BJP appealed to the farmers to end the agitation and also advised them to be careful.
