Dr. Govind Singh gets no relief from High Court
Highlights
Govind Singh did not get relief from the High Court in the Kothi case. A petition was filed to cancel the demarcation of the Kothi. It is claimed that there is a common path from inside Govind Singh’s house.
Naiduniya Representative, Gwalior: A petition filed in the High Court to stop the measurement of the house located on Lahar Bhind-Bhander Road by former Congress leader of opposition and former MLA Lahar Dr. Govind Singh was heard, but the former MLA did not get any relief from the High Court in this matter. The High Court disposed of the petition after hearing both the parties and arguments.
The court said that the demarcation process should be completed soon by giving proper notice to the concerned parties and after that the resulting follow-up action should also be ensured. On Thursday morning, the revenue staff reached the former MLA’s house along with the police force.
Common path from inside the house
In fact, former councilor Babulal Tagore had earlier given a memorandum to the Collector and Lahar SDM, stating that there is a common route from inside the house of former MLA Dr. Govind Singh to his house and Ward-12, which has been closed.
On the basis of the complaint, on Thursday the revenue staff reached the house of former MLA Dr. Govind Singh and kept measuring from different points till evening. The measurement has not yielded any result. During the demarcation process, police force of Lahar, Aswar, Mihona, Daboh, Alampur, Rawatpura and other police stations remained deployed.
Govind Singh’s son said it was against the rules
On the other hand, Amit Pratap Singh, son of former Lahar MLA Dr. Govind Singh, objecting to the demarcation of survey numbers 2715 and 2716, submitted a memorandum to the Lahar Tehsildar in which he said that action was being taken against the rules.
In such a case, the applicant will apply to the Tehsildar with the prescribed fee, which will be recorded in item A-12 on the RCMS, only after that the Tehsildar will order the Revenue Inspector or City Surveyor or Patwari to do the demarcation. But on checking the RCMS portal, no case is registered on behalf of the applicant Babulal Tagore in the court of Tehsildar Lahar regarding the demarcation of survey numbers 2715 and 2716 of the town Lahar.
