State Bureau, Naiduniya. Bhopal. This is probably the first time after becoming the Chief Minister that Mohan Yadav stayed away from public programs. He stayed at his residence the whole day on Saturday. He had already kept Saturday reserved. In the reserved time, he discussed with his colleagues about the appointments of the corporation-board, after which he also talked on the phone with some big leaders of Delhi.
Apart from this, preparations for the Regional Investors Summit to be held on 28th August in Gwalior were also discussed. No meeting was held at his residence either. It is believed that the process of political appointments can be started after the Raksha Bandhan festival which is about a week away.
Kamal Nath is now seen active after the by-election
Former Chief Minister Kamal Nath is seen active for the first time after the Lok Sabha and assembly by-elections in Chhindwara. He is in Bhopal since Friday. During this time, a large number of Congress officials and workers reached his residence to meet him.
Kamal Nath visited the residence of the recently deceased former MLA Arif Aqeel and met his family members. Sources said that he will stay in Bhopal till Sunday evening. After the defeat of his son Nakul Nath in the first Lok Sabha election and then the defeat of Congress in the Amarwara by-election, his activity was seen to be less.
