Due to Raksha Bandhan festival, fewer patients reached and even those who reached did not meet senior doctors. After a two-day strike and Sunday holiday, JAH’s OPD ran for two hours on Monday. Patients who reached the OPD were disappointed due to the non-availability of senior doctors.
Naiduniya representative, Gwalior. After two days of strike and Sunday holiday, due to Rakshabandhan festival on Monday, OPD was held for two hours from 9 am to 11 am in the 1000-bed hospital. During this time, the orthopedics, ophthalmology and gynecology departments were run by junior doctors. Due to the festival, very few patients came to the OPD for treatment, but due to the absence of senior doctors, they also returned disappointed.
Dr. Rakesh Gaharwar was sitting in the OPD of the medicine department of the 1000-bed hospital. Dr. OP Jatav arrived at the OPD at around 10 am. Junior doctors examined the patients until he arrived. Meanwhile, doctors did not arrive at the district hospital Murar and civil hospital Hajira at 9 am.
In the civil hospital, the rooms of the medicine, ophthalmology, gynaecology, dental and surgery departments were locked. Even sonography tests were not conducted here. Due to this, many patients returned without treatment. In the district hospital Murar, the doctors were absent from the OPD till 10 am. The patients who came here for treatment were seen by the intern doctors. The patients who reached the hospital returned cursing the doctors for not being available.

Time 9.53 am Department: Patients did not find a senior doctor in the OPD for orthopedic treatment. The relatives who had brought the patient in a wheelchair were waiting for the senior doctor to come. After waiting for a long time, when the senior doctor did not come, they returned after consulting the junior doctors.

Time 10.28 am Senior doctor was not present in room number one and two in the ophthalmology department. Junior doctor was present in room number one. Patients who came here for treatment had to return after consulting the junior doctor.

Time 10.34 AM A female patient had reached the gynecology department for treatment, but the senior doctor was not present. In such a situation, she had to take treatment and advice from a junior female doctor. OPD started after three days but the senior did not reach the OPD.
Junior doctors celebrated Rakshabandhan by wearing black bands and registered their protest
Junior doctors continued their protest against the Kolkata incident. On Monday, junior doctors celebrated Rakshabandhan by tying black bands. In protest, they tied black bands instead of rakhis to each other. Junior doctors say that the strike has been postponed, but the struggle will continue. JUDA President Dr. Narayan Hari Sharma said that we celebrated Rakshabandhan by tying black bands and protesting. Also, all the junior doctors sat in the OPD.
