Naiduniya News, Indore: An attempt was made to convert people by luring them with money in Sherkund of Manpur police station area. The villagers have also been threatened with assault and death if they protest. On this, the villagers surrounded Manpur police station on Sunday. Police have registered a case under religious conversion, assault and other sections.

On Sunday, some people were pressurizing the villagers to convert to Christianity by giving them money. When other villagers got information about this, they all came and protested. During this, the accused started fighting. All the villagers reached Manpur police station and registered a case against the accused and demanded strict action.
Police have registered a case against accused Bhimsingh Osari, Arjun, Haiwan Singh, Lalu Girwal, Chhotalal Bhabhar, Mahesh and four others. Police station in-charge Ravi Shankar Pareek said that the accused had been pressurizing people for religious conversion for several months. The accused will be arrested soon.
Memorandum given to ranger to demolish church
After registering the FIR, the Rural Forest Department reached Manpur Forest Range Ranger PS Chauhan and expressed his anger. The villagers gave a memorandum demanding the demolition of the church in Goklyakund on the Forest Department land. Angered, he said that the church should be demolished otherwise it would be demolished by the villagers.
MBA student commits suicide
30 year old Priyanshu committed suicide by consuming poison. Rau police has established the route. The reasons for suicide have not been revealed. According to the police, Priyanshu was studying MBA. The relatives were brought to the hospital in critical condition on Friday night. He died on Sunday morning.
According to relatives, he was doing MBA from Chandigarh University. Came to Indore only three days ago. Stayed with relatives till evening and started vomiting at night. Police have seized Priyanshu’s mobile. No suicide note has been found from the house.
