Raigarh. Once again there has been an uproar in Chhattisgarh in the name of religious conversion. The latest case has come to light from Raigarh, where some women were praying in a house in Mitthu Muda locality of the city on Sunday morning. As soon as Hindu organizations came to know about this, they immediately reached the spot, surrounded the house and informed the police. During this, there was a fierce altercation between both the parties. Activists of Hindu organization accused the women of religious conversion in the name of prayer meeting. Seeing the matter gaining momentum, the police had detained 7 people, after which the police has now registered an FIR against a youth and 3 women.
Balod. Near Raja Talab of Daundi police station area, a youth Mehul Sahu (21) was killed by three people by crushing him with a stone after a dispute. This incident happened during a picnic, in which the young man died on the spot. The deceased has been identified as Mehul Sahu (age 21 years), father Devlal Sahu, who was a resident of Dallirajhara. Daundi police have detained 3 people in the case, who are being interrogated.
