    The year 2025 was marked by several high-profile film flops, resulting in substantial financial losses. ‘War 2,’ starring Hrithik Roshan, was among the most anticipated films, but it failed to resonate with audiences, managing to earn only 237 crore in India and 365 crore worldwide, with a budget of 400 crore. The sequel, ‘Son of Sardaar 2,’ starring Ajay Devgn, also disappointed, generating only 46 crore in India. Salman Khan’s ‘Sikandar’ also failed to impress, earning only 100 crore in India. Kangana Ranaut’s ‘Emergency’ also performed poorly, earning 23.81 crore worldwide. ‘Game Changer,’ a large-scale South Indian film starring Ram Charan, also underperformed, earning 186 crore globally. Furthermore, Shahid Kapoor’s ‘Deva’ underperformed, with a budget exceeding 50 crore, collecting only 33.9 crore in India. ‘Maalik’ starring Rajkumar Rao also had a poor showing, and Sanjay Dutt’s ‘Bhootni’ added to the list of disappointments.
