    The Indian Institute of Information Technology Ranchi celebrated the 77th Republic Day of India with immense enthusiasm and patriotic fervor at its BSNL ARTTI campus and the upcoming permanent campus located at Kanke, Sanga.

    The ceremony commenced with the hoisting of the national flag by the Honorable Director of IIIT Ranchi, Prof. Rajiv Srivastava. Faculty members, officers, staff, and students of the institute were present on this occasion. Following this, the national anthem was sung collectively, filling the entire campus with a patriotic spirit.

    Addressing the ceremony, Prof. Rajiv Srivastava highlighted the vision of a developed India and shed light on the crucial role of educational institutions and youth in nation-building. He emphasized the importance of citizens’ constitutional duties, the preservation of democratic values, and the active participation of youth in India’s progress. He also urged students to internalize the spirit of integrity, innovation, and inclusivity enshrined in the constitution.

    Shedding light on the significance of Republic Day, the Director recalled the sacrifices of freedom fighters and constitution makers and urged everyone to make collective efforts towards building a strong, self-reliant, and developed India.

    The ceremony was further graced by patriotic cultural programs presented by the students. These presentations offered a beautiful glimpse into India’s diversity, unity, and rich cultural heritage, which was appreciated by the attendees.

    The Republic Day celebration organized at IIIT Ranchi concluded with the institute family reiterating its commitment to upholding constitutional values, nation-building, innovation, and social responsibility.
