Raipur 25 November 2024/Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai has said that the train of development is now running at a fast pace in Chhattisgarh under the double engine government. Chief Minister Shri Sai reiterated his resolve for rapid development of Chhattisgarh during his train journey from Raipur to Bilaspur yesterday.
Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai said that the positive changes that have taken place in the railway sector in the last 10 years have not only increased passenger facilities but have also given impetus to the Indian economy. He said that modernization of railways has created new employment opportunities. The expansion of the railway network is connecting rural and remote areas to big cities, thereby encouraging trade and tourism.
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि वंदे भारत, तेजस और गतिमान जैसी हाई-स्पीड ट्रेनों ने यात्रा समय को काफी घटा दिया है। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि रेलवे के अधिकारियों ने उन्हें बताया कि आधुनिक ट्रेनों में वातानुकूलित डिब्बे, आरामदायक सीटें, वाई-फाई, ऑनबोर्ड कैटरिंग सुविधा मिल रही है। स्टेशन अब आधुनिक सुविधाओं से सुसज्जित हैं, जिसने यात्रियों के अनुभव को बेहतर बनाया है। उन्होंने कहा कि ई-टिकटिंग और डिजिटल भुगतान ने बुकिंग प्रक्रिया को सरल और तेज बना दिया है। सौर ऊर्जा और बायो-टॉयलेट जैसी पहल पर्यावरण को संरक्षित करने में मदद कर रही हैं। भारतीय रेलवे अब आर्टिफिशियल इंटेलिजेंस, डेटा एनालिटिक्स और ऑटोमेशन जैसे आधुनिक तकनीकी उपायों के उपयोग की ओर आगे बढ़ रहा है, ताकि दक्षता और सेवा की गुणवत्ता में सुधार हो सके।
इस चर्चा के दौरान मुख्यमंत्री ने बताया कि छत्तीसगढ़ सरकार की मंशा है कि प्रदेश की आर्थिक तरक्की के लिए रेल परिवहन के समुचित उपयोग की ओर तेजी से आगे बढ़ा जाए। इसी क्रम में केंद्र सरकार के सहयोग से कई रेल परियोजनाओं पर तेजी से काम हो रहा है और कई ऐसी परियोजनाएं हैं, जिनको विस्तार दिए जाने की तैयारी की जा रही है। उन्होंने कहा है कि डोंगरगढ़-कवर्धा-कटघोरा रेल लाइन परियोजना के लिए रेल मंत्रालय से मंजूरी मिल चुकी है। यह परियोजना लगभग 295 किलोमीटर लंबी होगी और इसकी अनुमानित लागत 4021 करोड़ रुपये है। इस रेल लाइन का निर्माण छत्तीसगढ़ रेलवे कॉरपोरेशन द्वारा किया जाएगा। वर्तमान में भूमि अधिग्रहण और प्रारंभिक निर्माण कार्यों के लिए 300 करोड़ रुपये की राशि स्वीकृत की गई है। इस रेल लाइन में डोंगरगढ़ से कवर्धा के बीच 12 और कवर्धा से कटघोरा के बीच 15 स्टेशनों का निर्माण किया जाएगा। यह परियोजना न केवल क्षेत्र में यात्री सुविधा बढ़ाएगी बल्कि खनिजों के परिवहन और रोजगार के नए अवसर भी प्रदान करेगी।He said that recently the Government of India and the Ministry of Railways have approved several new rail projects in Chhattisgarh, which aim to strengthen the infrastructure of the state and increase connectivity. Korba-Ambikapur new railway line is a 180 km long project, for which Rs 16.75 crore has been sanctioned for survey and DPR. This project will accelerate development in Surguja area. Similarly, Rs 12.25 crore has been approved for the survey of 490 km long railway line from Gadchiroli-Bijapur-Bacheli. This project will help in connecting remote areas with better education, health and employment opportunities. The 37 km long Sardega-Bhalumuda double line project will improve connectivity between Odisha and Chhattisgarh. There is a provision of Rs 1360 crore for this project. DPR of Ambikapur-Barwadih, Kharsia-Naya Raipur-Parmalaksa, Rawaghat-Jagdalpur and Dharamjaigarh-Pathalgaon-Lohardaga rail projects in Chhattisgarh is being prepared. The survey work being done by the Railways for the Dharamjaigarh-Lohardaga project is in the final stage.
The Chief Minister said that these projects will not only enhance passenger connectivity but also facilitate transportation of industrial and mineral resources. Apart from these, several other short rail line and multi-tracking projects are also planned in the state, which will strengthen regional development and supply chain. He said that wherever the need for rail transport is felt in the development of the state, rapid initiatives will be taken in that direction. Chief Minister Shri Sai said that he got a beautiful opportunity to learn and understand a lot through this visit. We will take necessary steps with the cooperation of the Central Government to increase the facilities of passengers and solve their problems.
