    Raipur 23 November 2024/ Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, during his stay in Bilaspur today, attended the felicitation ceremony organized on the occasion of the 10th foundation day of the Bilaspur edition of Dainik Navpradesh Newspaper Group at Lakhiram Auditorium. The Chief Minister said that journalism is the fourth pillar of democracy, and its importance becomes meaningful only when it brings forward the voices of every section of the society. Today, the honor of eminent people from every field in this program is the touchstone of social concerns. At the function, the Chief Minister honored the talented people doing excellent work in various fields by presenting them shawls and mementos. These include simple-hearted Padmashree Shri Jageshwar Yadav, resident of Jashpur, who has done excellent work for the upliftment of Birhor society, litterateur Dr. Satish Jaiswal, C.V. Registrar of Raman University, Dr. Arvind Tiwari, Kathak dance guru Ms. Vasanti Vaishnav, senior journalist Mr. Nathmal Sharma, poet and litterateur Mr. Ramkumar Tiwari, Mr. Kamal Soni from business world, Mr. Piyush Srivastava associated with service work, senior journalist Mr. Sushil Shukla, Mr. Sanskar Aggarwal, Shri Vikram Singh Thakur, Bilaspur Press Club President Shri Irshad Ali.

    Praising Padma Shri awardee Shri Jageshwar Yadav, who hails from a small village of Jashpur, the Chief Minister said that he has dedicated his entire life to the upliftment of the Birhor tribal community, who are called the adopted sons of the President. He goes on foot to Birhor dominated villages to give information about government schemes and to make them aware. He is quite popular in Jashpur, Raigarh, Korba and other districts. In the program, in the presence of the Chief Minister, an MoU was signed between Navpradesh Sanstha and Kalyani Sanstha for public awareness about de-addiction.

    While addressing the program, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao said that in today's time, the work of print media is challenging. He congratulated and congratulated the Bilaspur edition of Navpradesh on the 10th foundation day. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Sao also congratulated the talented persons who were honored at the ceremony and wished them for their bright future.
