At least 10 folks died in an explosion which occurred on the limestone quarry located in Andhra Pradesh’s Kadapa on Saturday. Several different laborers are feared trapped underneath the particles. The incident passed off at Mamillapalle village close to the Kalasapadu block this morning. All the victims used to work as laborers within the quarry.
According to Mohan Reddy, Porumamilla Inspector of Police , the explosion passed off on the time when detonators have been being shifted to the quarry website. Most of the victims are believed to reside in Pulivendula, the native village of Andhra Pradesh CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
CM Reddy has inquired with the officers involved about the reason for the accident and ordered an inquiry into it. He additionally expressed his condolences to the households of the blast victims.
