A biopic primarily based on the lifetime of revolutionary Swedish artist and feminist pioneer Hilma af Klint is within the making by the Nordic Entertainment Group (NENT Group). Lena Olin of Enemies body has been roped in to essay the titular character in it and The Cider House Rules-fame Lasse Hallström is on board to write down and direct the movie.
Hilma will revolve across the puzzling lifetime of Klint, whose unconventional artwork remained largely unknown for many years. Klint, who set foot within the male-dominated inventive discipline, finally turned one of many Western world’s first summary artists.
Olin will play Klint in her later years, whereas Tora Hallström, Olin and Lasse Hallström’s daughter, shall be portraying the artist in her youthful years.
