Uttarakhand Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat on Saturday introduced the Mukhyamantri Vatsalya Yojana, which assures month-to-month upkeep allowance of Rs 3,000 to youngsters whose mother and father succumbed to Covid-19 an infection.
The upkeep allowance might be given to those youngsters till they attain the age of 21, it was introduced.
The Chief Minister stated that the Uttarakhand authorities may even make preparations for schooling and employment-related coaching for such youngsters. The state authorities may even make guidelines to make sure that nobody is ready unload ancestral properties of such youngsters till they grow to be adults.
The state authorities will assign this duty to the district magistrates, it was introduced. Rawat stated that these youngsters might be given 5 per cent horizontal reservation in authorities jobs.
