THRISSUR: Vellikkulangara police on Saturday arrested TikTok persona Ambili aka Vignesh Krishna, 19, for allegedly raping and impregnating a minor woman. The police stated Vignesh had met a 17-year-old woman via social media. They began contacting one another via cellphone calls. Later, they began assembly in particular person and Vignesh took the woman with him to his home at Wadakkanchery sooner or later.
“Soon after he came to know about the pregnancy, Vignesh absconded. We had been tracing his friend’s and family’s phone calls. In the meantime, he applied for a passport which indicated his plan to move abroad,” stated police.
The police advised his household that his passport was prepared. On Friday evening, his father went to his shut relative’s home at Thiroor right here on a two-wheeler to tell Vignesh in regards to the passport. The police adopted his father and caught Vignesh.
