Raipur 03 October 2024/ Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai today participated in Lord Maharaja Agrasen Jayanti Mahotsav-2024 at Shri Agrasen Dham located in Chhokra Nala of the capital Raipur. On this occasion, the Chief Minister said that Maharaja Agrasen did great work in taking the society forward with equality and brotherhood. Chief Minister Shri Sai inaugurated the second floor of Shri Agrasen Dham on the occasion of Agrasen Jayanti.
While addressing the program, Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai said that many congratulations to everyone on Maharaja Agrasen Jayanti and Navratri festival. Agarwal community is a leading society in every field. Be it the field of service or education and business, Agarwal community has made significant contribution in every field.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that any society progresses on the strength of its culture and its economy. Only the balance of these two brings real progress. Maharaja Agrasen ji has given this education to all of us. While he gave us the principles of trade and economic development, he also laid emphasis on creating equal opportunities for progress for all sections of the society by following Vedic religion, culture and ideals.
The Chief Minister said that the ideals presented by Maharaja Agrasen for establishing equality, brotherhood and justice in the society are a source of inspiration for us even today. Following his ideals, the people of Agrawal community have achieved high success in their business and have also made an excellent contribution to the economic development of the country.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that it was my good fortune that in my public life I always got the opportunity to live among the people of Agarwal community. While working as the Union Minister of State, I observed that most of the people associated with industries whom I got the opportunity to meet were from the Agarwal community.
Agarwal society is a philanthropic society. Many works are done by this society for the welfare of all. Be it construction of Dharamshala or construction of school-hospital, Agarwal community remains at the forefront in every work of service.
The Chief Minister said that our government has been functioning for only 9 months. Development of industries is our priority. Chhattisgarh state is very prosperous in every aspect, there is a lot of potential for industries here. I urge the Agarwal community to contribute their full share for the development of industries. Development of industries will accelerate employment generation. We are moving towards connecting the youth of the state with employment by skill development as per the industries. More and more facilities are being provided to industries by our government through the new industrial policy. We are promoting industries through single window system. Agrawal society should take advantage of these.
MP Shri Brijmohan Agarwal said that the Agarwal community has a significant contribution in the progress of India. Agarwal community is known for protection of religion and family system. Many social service works are done by Agarwal Samaj. It is very important to serve the society. Today there is a need to move the family together. It is important to pass on these values to the new generation.
In the programme, the Chief Minister honored the people of Agarwal community who have excelled in various fields. He released the biography of Maharaja Agrasen.
On this occasion, Raipur MP Mr. Brijmohan Agarwal, Basna MLA Mr. Sampat Agarwal, Mr. Nirmal Agarwal and a large number of people of Agarwal community were present.
