Raipur. 23 December 2024. Deputy Chief Minister and Urban Administration and Development Minister Shri Arun Sao today inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of development works worth more than Rs 14 crore 34 lakh in four urban bodies in Arang. He executed 13 works worth Rs 3 crore ten lakh in Arang Municipality, six works worth Rs 50 lakh 44 thousand in Mandir Hasaud Municipality, seven works worth Rs 2 crore eight lakh in Chandkhuri Nagar Panchayat and one work worth Rs 49 lakh 18 thousand in Samoda Nagar Panchayat. Inaugurated. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Sao handed over 26 rupees worth Rs 2 crore 74 lakh in Arang Municipality, 37 rupees worth Rs 2 crore 55 lakh 47 thousand in Mandir Hasaud Municipality, 10 rupees worth Rs 1 crore 76 lakh in Chandkhuri Nagar Panchayat and one crore 12 rupees in Samoda Nagar Panchayat. Also performed bhumi pujan of 15 works worth lakh rupees. Vice Chairman of Scheduled Caste Development Authority and Arang MLA Guru Khushwant Saheb and Lok Sabha MP Shri Brijmohan Aggarwal also participated in the inauguration-bhoomipujan program.
While addressing the inauguration and Bhoomi Pujan program, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao said that Chhattisgarh government has brought Modi's guarantee and good governance in the state. Today, the Ganges of development is flowing in the entire state along with the Arang area. Referring to the major works being done by the state government in the interest of Prime Minister's residence and farmers, he said that in the last one year, a total of Rs 174 crore 72 lakh has been spent by the Urban Administration Department in four urban bodies of Arang development block, Chandkhuri, Samoda, Arang and Mandirhasaud. The works have been approved. These development works in the area will continue in future also.
While addressing the program, Vice Chairman of Scheduled Caste Development Authority and MLA of Arang, Guru Khushwant Saheb said that in the last one year, the development of cities and villages of the area has gained momentum. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, the state government is actively working for the development and welfare of all sections through various schemes. He thanked Deputy Chief Minister and Law and Legislative Affairs Minister Shri Arun Sao for the establishment of Behavioral Court in Arang.
MP Shri Brijmohan Aggarwal said in the program that the double engine government is working rapidly for the development of the state. He congratulated and congratulated the people of the four urban bodies for the works inaugurated today and Bhoomi Pujan. SDM Shri Pushpendra Sharma, Tehsildar Mrs. Sita Shukla and former MLA Shri Sanjay Dhidhi, many public representatives, distinguished citizens and chief municipal officers of Arang, Mandirhasaud, Chandkhuri and Samoda were present in the inauguration-bhoomipujan program organized at Arang Bus Stand.
