In a joint operation in Mathura district, 1589 stolen cell phones price greater than Rs 1.5 crore have been recovered from 5 individuals. The operation was carried out on Thursday evening. In the start of October, 8990 telephones have been looted close to the border of Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. The recovered telephones have been discovered from this looted telephone. The cell phone was being despatched to Bangalore from a manufacturing unit in Noida. During this time he was robbed. Since then, the police was constantly raiding on this case. According to the police, the accused in two automobiles have been stopped close to Raipura Jat underpass of Farah police station space once they have been going in the direction of Agra to get rid of the stolen cell phones. Action was taken on the premise of knowledge. Teams from Farah Police Station, Surveillance, SWAT, Special Operations Group (SOG) and Special Task Force (STF) collectively carried out the operation. Superintendent of Police, Nagar Martand Prakash Singh mentioned that 1,589 stolen cell phones have been recovered and the 5 accused have been arrested. The worth of the recovered telephone is Rs 1.5 crore. The accused have been recognized as Rahul alias Aamir Khan of Mathura and Shahid, Azharuddin, Sameer and Ajmal from Nuh district of Haryana. Earlier, 113 stolen cell phones price Rs 11.3 lakh have been recovered from the eight accused. Five cellular thieves caught within the particular operation.
