POCO is expected to launch a new smartphone globally based on recent teasers. While this phone is believed to be the POCO F2/ F2 Pro, it seems the brand has different plans for India. According to a report by MySmartPrice, a brand new smartphone, called POCO M2 Pro, has been spotted on the Xiaomi India website. This is the first time we’re hearing about the POCO M2 Pro, so details regarding this mysterious device are slim to none at the moment. The POCO M2 Pro with model number M2001J2I was spotted on Xiaomi’s RF exposure page, which only revealed the phone’s SAR value of 1.6 W/kg. Interestingly, the website also lists the Redmi Note 9 and Mi 10, the latter set to launch in India on May 8th.
With the POCO M2 Pro spotted on the Xiaomi India website, we expect the company to make an announcement regarding its launch soon enough. Whether this is the same smartphone that is also launching globally is still unclear. As of now, it is believed that the POCO F2 Pro will launch internationally as a rebranded Redmi K30 Pro. Either way, it looks like POCO has a couple of new smartphone up its sleeve.
Meanwhile, folks at MySmartPrice also discovered the Redmi Note 9 and Mi 10 listed on the website. To recall, the Redmi Note 9 recently went official globally with a Helio G85 processor, 48MP quad cameras and 18W fast charging support.
