Sylvester Stallone is in talks to affix and govt produce Kansas City, a brand new drama sequence for Paramount+, from Hell or High Water director Taylor Sheridan and the creator of Boardwalk Empire Terence Winter.
The sequence is about to observe Italian mob man Sal—performed by Stallone—who’s pressured to relocate to the titular Kansas City and is given the duty of building himself in a city that’s infamous for its mafia life. He meets stunning and distinctive characters on his mission.
The sequence can be Stallone’s first official entry into full-fledged appearances on tv, having made quite a few cameos appearances on reveals like Police Story and This Is Us, in addition to appearances as himself on Saturday Night Live and The Muppet Show.
Sheridan’s Mayor of Kingstown starring Jeremy Renner debuted lately on Paramount+. He is about to govt produce Kansas City alongside Winter and Stallone, in addition to Glasser, Ron Burkle, and Bob Yari of 101 Studios. There is presently no launch date for Kansas City.
