Hijab Row: The ongoing unrest within the state of Karnataka over whether or not college students needs to be permitted to put on hijab in academic establishments has caught actor Sonam Kapoor Ahuja’s consideration. Taking to Instagram, Sonam Kapoor shared an image of a person in a turban and a lady in a hijab, and it questions why can a turban be a selection however a hijab can’t. We request the State Government and all other stakeholders to reopen the educational institutions and allow the students to return to the classes at the earliest,” the HC ordered.
