Hundreds of yellow and blue candles have been lit on the City Centre within the western Ukrainian metropolis of Lviv to honour civilians killed within the Russian invasion of the nation.
India Today TV spoke to the individuals gathered on the central sq., praying for the peace of departed souls on Tuesday.
“We are grieving the death of our citizens killed by the Russian forces. We will never forget all the people who lost their lives,” a resident of Lviv mentioned, including, “We are united and that’s what matters.”
Meanwhile, Russian forces in a single day struck a gas depot and a manufacturing facility in Ukraine’s Dnipropetrovsk area, and the variety of casualties stays unclear, the area’s Governor Valentyn Reznichenko mentioned on Wednesday.
“The night was alarming and difficult. The enemy attacked our area from the air and hit the oil depot and one of the plants. The oil depot with fuel was destroyed. Rescuers are still putting out the flames at the plant. There is a strong fire,” Reznichenko wrote.
In the jap Luhansk area, Tuesday’s shelling of Rubizhne metropolis killed one and injured 5 extra, Governor Serhiy Haidai mentioned.
