Wicketkeeper Regis Chakabva will proceed to steer Zimbabwe towards India within the upcoming ODI sequence, with common captain Craig Ervine nonetheless nursing a left hamstring damage. Zimbabwe introduced a 17-man ODI squad for 3-match sequence towards India.
The three matches can be performed on the Harare Sports Club. The second and third match are scheduled on August 20 and 22 respectively.
According to a press launch issued by Zimbabwe Cricket, “Chakabva will lead the home side in the absence of regular captain Craig Ervine who is still nursing a left hamstring tear.”
Zimbabwe may even be with out Blessing Muzarabani, Tendai Chatara and Wellington Masakadza who’re recuperating from thigh muscle tear, collarbone fracture and shoulder tendon accidents respectively.
All the matches will begin at 1 pm IST time.
