Like any fast bowler, Anderson’s body has gone through multiple injuries, some nastier than the other. In the interview with the magazine, Anderson revealed that he did think about quitting, but the love for the game kept him pushing forward.
“I really feel possibly my physique can cope with it higher now that it might after I was 20 or 21. Yes, I really feel sore after a day within the area, however everybody does. I did after I was 21; I do now. But you come again the subsequent day and crack on. I do know my physique can cope with it,” the 40-year-old said.
The pace duo of Anderson and Broad have been effective up top for England, bowling attacking lengths to the sides that have toured England. The bowler stated that he loved the long format and he enjoyed every single minute of the game, when he keeps fit.
“Besides, when I’m match, I like each minute of it. Even when it is exhausting and we’re up towards it. It’s an incredible recreation to play. There’s nothing higher than Test cricket for me so I’ll try this for so long as I probably can.”
