England quick bowler James Anderson heaped reward on Zak Crawley for his method within the second Test in opposition to South Africa at Old Trafford in Manchester. After bowling the Proteas out for 151, the Three Lions misplaced three early wickets of Alex Lees, Ollie Pope and Joe Root.

“He played exactly how we needed him to play. For someone whose output has not been what he would want it to be, he read the situation brilliantly,” Anderson was quoted as saying.
After placing South Africa in to bat first, England shot their opponents out in 53.2 overs. Anderson and Stuart Broad picked up three wickets apiece and have been the standout bowlers for the Three Lions. Test skipper Ben Stokes additionally picked up two necessary wickets of Aiden Markram and Rassie van der Dussen.
βIt felt like not the worst toss to lose. For a bowler, once you see it shifting round like that, it is at all times nice. Everyone who bowled did fantastically,” he added.
England are at present 113 for the lack of three wickets and are solely trailing by 40 runs of their first innings.
