After shedding to Liz Truss within the Conservative Party management race for the put up of British Prime Minister, Indian-origin former chancellor Rishi Sunak may not even get a job in Truss’s new cabinet.

A report by The Guardian means that Liz Truss’ staff has selected which Tory leaders shall be awarded key Cabinet posts, to be introduced this afternoon (September 6). Rishi Sunak’s title has reportedly not made the record.

Treasury minister Lucy Frazer and former communities secretary Robert Jenrick are two of Rishi Sunak’s supporters who would possibly get senior ministerial roles within the cabinet, reported the Guardian.

According to the report, Liz Truss is predicted to nominate James Cleverly as international secretary, Suella Braverman as house secretary and Kwasi Kwarteng as chancellor. Kwarteng is thought to be Truss’ closest cabinet ally.

The anticipated appointments have been welcomed by some, together with Boris Johnson’s former adviser, Samuel Kasumu.

Earlier, when Rishi Sunak was requested if he would serve within the authorities run by his rival, Liz Truss, if she turns into the UK Prime Minister, he indicated that he may not, as one must “agree with the big things.”
