New Delhi: Ink was thrown on Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Somnath Bharti allegedly by a right-wing activist whereas he was going to examine some authorities faculties in Rae Bareli district of Uttar Pradesh on Monday (January 11). After the ink assault, Bharti was concerned in a heated argument with police officers whereas the youth who threw ink on Bharti managed to flee.
The police escorted Bharti from the visitor home of the Irrigation Department and proceeded in the direction of Amethi district.
The incident occurred over the AAP MLA’s controversial comment on the situation of hospitals in Uttar Pradesh. An FIR has been filed towards AAP MLA Somnath Bharti for his derogatory assertion concerning the situation of hospitals in Uttar Pradesh.
