Retorting to Chinese President Xi Jinping’s comment to forcefully reclaim Taiwan if required, a senior Taiwanese official stated Xi could be a sinner of all Chinese if he attacked the island.

Chinese President Xi Jinping could be a sinner of all Chinese if he attacked the island, says a senior Taiwanese official.

By India Today Web Desk: After Chinese President Xi Jinping asserted on the twentieth Communist Party Congress to forcefully reclaim Taiwan if required, Taiwan’s prime safety official retorted that the Chinese president could be a sinner of all Chinese individuals if he attacked Taiwan.

“Xi would forfeit the so-called great rejuvenation of the Chinese people and become a sinner of the Chinese people,” Reuters quoted the pinnacle of Taiwan’s National Security Bureau, Chen Ming-tong as saying.

Xi Jinping, who’s more likely to be elected president for the third five-year time period, has been decided in regards to the reunification of Taiwan with China.

China has repeatedly been mounting strain on Taiwan by ramping up its navy may.

The democratically elected Taiwan authorities claims it’s as much as the Taiwanese individuals to determine their future, as Taiwan was by no means part of Communist China.

“It’s very clear that the two sides should respect each other and develop separately, which is the way that will bring happiness to the people,” Chen stated.

The Taiwan strait was on the boil in August after US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi had landed in Taiwan as she was the primary senior US official in 25 years to go to the island.
