3,700 Indian dams will lose 26 per cent of storage resulting from sedimentation by 2050: UN research
The UN's assume tank on water, reveals that 6,316 billion cubic metre of preliminary world storage in 47,403 massive dams in 150 nations will decline to 4,665 billion cubic metre.
