The head of FFF’s nationwide ethics committee stated a day after Le Graet apologised to Zidane for feedback in regards to the former Real Madrid coach, which sparked controversy.

“As far because the president of the federation is anxious, whereas we clearly don’t intend to refer the matter to a disciplinary committee, we will solely ask him to step down in the most effective pursuits of soccer.”
France forward Kylian Mbappe also criticised Le Graet’s remarks by tweeting “Zidane is France, we do not disrespect the legend like that.”
